Access information
anywhere with a Pocket or Palm-size PC. These devices are small,
"shirt-pocketable," pen-entry devices (with no physical keyboard).
They come with Pocket Outlook (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Inbox
for email), "soft" keyboard and handwriting recognition, World
Clock, Calculator, Solitaire, and Pocket Internet Explorer, which
lets you download web content offline. With some limitations, you
can view, edit, and create documents in Pocket Word, and view, edit,
and create spreadsheets in Pocket Excel. Pocket PC users can read
e-books with Microsoft Reader, and listen to music and watch videos
with the Windows Media Player.
Don't lug a
laptopĆ¹carry a Handheld PC. They have a backlit screen which folds
over a physical keyboard. Organize yourself with Pocket Outlook,
which has Contacts, Tasks, Appointments, and Inbox. Pocket Word and
Excel let you carry documents and spreadsheets on the go. Surf the
Internet with Pocket Internet Explorer.
